Terms of Service

Last updated July 9, 2026. These Terms govern your use of Thumbs. By creating an account or signing in, you agree to them.

1. Who can use Thumbs

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information about yourself, including a real, current photo of your face. One account per person.

2. Your content

You own what you post — plans, photos, messages, and your profile. By posting, you give us a licence to display that content inside Thumbs so the service can work. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share.

3. Behaviour

Thumbs is for making real plans with real people. Harassment, hate speech, impersonation, spam, solicitation, and any illegal activity are prohibited. We may remove content, flag, suspend, or ban accounts that break these rules — including based on reports from other users.

4. Meeting people

Thumbs helps people meet in person. Use common sense: meet in public places, tell someone where you're going, and trust your instincts. You are responsible for your interactions with other users — we don't vet users beyond the verification steps shown in the app.

5. Plans and expiry

Plans expire automatically based on their time window and may be removed by us at any time (for example, after a report). Accepting a request creates a chat between you and the other person.

6. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes your plans, chats, and connections. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Disclaimers

Thumbs is provided "as is" during our early-access period. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and limit our liability for damages arising from your use of the service.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms as Thumbs evolves. If changes are material, we'll let you know in the app. Continuing to use Thumbs after changes take effect means you accept them.
